Tingkat Partisipasi Kelompok Tani Desa Sukabitetek (Leuntolu) dalam Penyusunan Programa Penyuluhan di Kecamatan Raimanuk Kabupaten Belu

Abstract

To facilitate the preparation of extension programs, farmers must be members of a farmer group because farmers are the main actors in extension programs, so the principles of farmers, by farmers, and for farmers became the main factor. It can occur if there is full participation from farmers. This study was to determine: the level and types of farmer group participation in the preparation of extension programs and the dominant factors causing the farmer group participation. The study took place in Sukabitetek (Leuntolu) village, Raimanuk District, Belu Regency, and used the descriptive-quantitative method. The sample was determined intentionally, namely 30 farmer group leaders. The results confirmed that the level of participation of farmer groups in the preparation of extension programs is moderate in a mean score of 2.29 or 76.2%. The types of participation found were time, thoughts or ideas, material and energy, and motivation. The types of participation are the most dominant factors influencing the participation level of farmers, followed by experience, invitation by agricultural extension workers, environment, age, type of farming and business objectives, and partnerships, respectively
