KEPUTUSAN PENGGUNAAN PUPUK BERSUBSIDI PETANI JAG DI KECAMATAN BIBOKI MOENLEU KABUPATEN TIMOR TENGAH UTARA: Studi Kasus Desa Kaubele

Abstract

Corn plants are very important food plants after rice. The need for corn will continue to increase from year to year in line with the improvement of the economic standard of community and the progress of the animal feed industry so that it is necessary to increase production through human resources and natural resources, the availability of land and potential yields and technology. To increase food crops the government provides subsidized fertilizer to farmers with the highest retail price. Kaubele Village is one of the villages in Biboki Moenleu District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, has an area of ​​8.24 km2. The main source of income of the population is on average. This study aims to determine the decision, the preference of purchase and use of subsidized corn fertilizer in Kaubele Village, Biboki Moenleu District, North Central Timor Regency. The population in this study all members of the Farmers Group in Kaubele Village were 7 farmer groups totaling 140 people. The sampling method was taken intentionally (purposive sampling) by determining the sample using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% so that a research sample was obtained as many as 104 respondents. The data collection methods used in this study are interviews, primary data and secondary data. The analysis used in this study was logistical regression analysis with the help of SPSS applications to find out the factors that influence farmers' opportunities in decisions, the tendency of purchasing and use of subsidized fertilizer in Kaubele Village.
